American Humanics National Alumni Association
Career Resources and Interview Tips

 -----------
American Humanics is proud to announce the launch of CareersforGood.org, the premier internship and placement service for American Humanics students and alumni. Developed in partnership with Idealist.org and the National Human Services Assembly, CareersforGood.org will provide a forum for the Assembly’s 80 national nonprofit member organizations (and 13,000 local affiliates) to post jobs and internships, allowing the American Humanics alliance to strengthen its national reputation as the preferred employment pipeline of the nonprofit sector.

New positions are always being added, so be sure to bookmark the site so you can find the newest nonprofit positions:
www.CareersForGood.org.

Looking for job interview tips?  Here are some ideas from the Twist Image blog: http://www.twistimage.com/blog/archives/12-ways-to-conduct-a-great-interview/

Do you have job search or interview tips you'd like to share with fellow alumni in the next newsletter?  Post to the conversation boards of the AHNAA Facebook or LinkedInGroups (find them here), or send an email to alumni+jobs@humanics.org.

If you're looking to enter the nonprofit sector, but need some information and guidance, please consider consulting The Nonprofit Career Guide: How to Land a Job that Makes a Difference, published by the Fieldstone Alliance and American Humanics.  Do you have any friends, interns, or mentees that may be interested?  Check out www.nonprofitcareerguide.org.
